摘要：An image processing system based on an IBM PC/AT compatiblecomputer is being developed for teaching and research at TheNational Chung HSing University. The hardware consists of apersonal computer with a monochrome monitor, an EGA monitor, anda color ink-jet printer. Pseudocolor images can be displayed onan EGA monitor with maximum of 16 colors, while falsecolor imagesand hard copies can be obtained on an ink-jet printer. Quite afew programming efforts have been made to reformat data anddisplay it. Software to run the system is mainly utilizingavailable PC-based statistical packages, say, SPSS, SAS, MINITAB,BMDP, and IMSL. Image enhancement, classification, fast Fouriertransform, principal component analysis, factor analysis,discriminant analysis, and texture analysis can be performedsmoothly.
