摘要：Remote Sensing Technology Center of Japan (RESTEC) collaborates with the World Bank for the Adaptation to Rapid Glacier Retreat in the Tropical Andes Project. The objective of the RESTEC activities is to provide training to the scientists of the participating four countries (Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru) of the project on a state of the art remote observing systems to be used for interpreting climate change impacts on high mountain ecosystems (including glacier basins) in the Andes. The training takes place in Bolivia and the outcomes of these activities are readiness of scientific and technical monitoring system for the analysis of the dynamics of glacier retreat
