摘要：Pest detection and identification of diseases inagricultural crops is essential to ensure good productivity. Theproductivity of plants will reduce due to diseases and presence ofpests. Image processing can be used to identify the pests andthereby can reduce the use of pesticides. Image processinginvolves capturing the image and applying various preprocessingtechniques and detect the pest in the image. By using theclassifier we can classify the pests and plant diseases. This paperpresents the study of various image processing techniques andapplications for pest identification and plant disease detection
