摘要：This paper discusses about available techniquesin automated full field mapping of civil structures involvingimage processing to facilitate real time structural healthmonitoring. The proposed system incorporates imageprocessing and data acquisition methodologies for crackdetection and assessment of surface degradation. Theobtained results show that the deployment of imageprocessing in an effective way is a key step towards theinspection of extensive infrastructures
