摘要：Traffic control is considered as one of the fastestdeveloping technologies in the world. In India with thegrowing number of vehicles, traffic jam at junctions hasbecome a serious issue. Normally Traffic police, Timers,Electronic sensors are used to control the traffic jam. Butnowadays, image processing techniques are used to controltraffic. This paper discuss about the various traffic controltechniques and their comparisons. In order to reduce thetraffic problems real time traffic control system using imageprocessing is very advantageous
