标题:The Impact of Employment Skills Training of the Age of Knowledge (through Job Club Method), on Career Self-Efficacy and Hope to Employment of the Students of Mashhad Universities
摘要:The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of training Employability skills in knowledge age on students' career self-efficacy and employment expectancy. Career self-efficacy is a subcategory of self-concept: the picture a person has of oneself. Self-efficacy and career self-efficacy in a particular job such as nursing are the subcategories of our self-concept. Bandura defines self-efficacy as one's belief in one's own ability to complete tasks and organize oneself in various conditions (Soleimani 2013). The extent of this belief can predict person's degree of job success. The participants in this study were 180 students who were randomly selected from a population of 2500 university students in Mashhad. They were divided into two experimental and control groups using pre-test and post-test design. The experimental group received 12 sessions of employment skills, taught by professional clubs. The participants in control group were divided into two groups: a group received pre-marriage training and the other received no treatment. The required data were collected through career decision self-efficacy scale (CDSES) and researcher-made employment expectancy questionnaire. To compare experimental and control groups, covariance was employed to analyze the results of pretest and posttest. The findings showed that job skills training can significantly increase students' career self-efficacy and employment expectancy
