摘要:Good pronunciation is a batch of good language proficiency. Pronunciation teachingis an area that needs the attention of the teachers and the policy makers and syllabus designers.The learners have to face a lot of problems in learning English pronunciation. The present studythrows light on the role of features of connected speech in teaching pronunciation. Aquestionnaire (regarding features of connected speech) of ten items (on five point likert scale)was filled by 45 secondary level English language teachers. Based on the analysis of data someinteresting points have been suggested to improve the students’ pronunciation and spokenintelligibility.
