摘要：A wide variety of synthetic organic compounds are used in agricultural practices. These compounds are used mainly to control pests and increase crop productivity. However, after utilization these agricultural compounds enter into the soil, water, air and plant tissues [1]. Some of the compounds such as dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane (DDT), dieldrin, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), benzene hexachloride (BHC), propachlor and other many pesticides remain in the environment for a long time and are resistant to natural degradation [2].
