摘要:Sensor nodes are mostly battery operated and are usually deployed in difficult to access locations. So, minimizing energy consumption is a key task in design of a Wireless Sensor Networks. Deterministic node placement can be an important optimization means for achieving design goals. There can be various energy conservation schemes in a typical WSN e.g. energy efficient routing, node scheduling, clustering, mobility models etc. In this paper three scenarios based on mobility conditions have been proposed. These three scenarios have been evaluated under the three existing energy models namely GENERIC, MICA MOTE and MICAZ and two routing protocols Ad Hoc On demand Distance Vector (AODV) and Dynamic MANET On demand (DYMO).And this paper provides a detailed study and implementation of a WSN for real time and continuous environmental monitoring of greenhouse gases.
