摘要:Generally speaking, Indo-European languages, including Russian, make use of prefixes so as to incorporate relational concepts into the meaning of root verbs. It is observed, however, that some intransitive verbs turn into socalled “quasi-transitives” by means of prefixation and come to require an accusative complement, which is concurrent with the later developed construction of “preposition plus accusative”.
