摘要:Many researchers have exerted efforts to seek explanationsof the existence of factors influencing the successfulimplementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)systems. However, little attention has been given to the effect of ERPimplementation upon the organizational performance enhancementand specifically in the context of Vietnamese small and medium-sizedenterprises (SMEs). An empirical study was conducted to investigatethe dimensions of ERP system implementation and identify therelationship between this construct and organizational performance inSMEs in Vietnam. Results revealed that the ERP systemimplementation was significantly associated with the exogenousvariables proposed, and that individual impact showed the strongesteffect. We further found that, although not having a direct effect, ERPimplementation could help enhance the performance of enterprises inthe target population through indirect effects. Besides, business sectorwas found to have moderating effect in the conceptual framework.
