摘要:In the training of teachers of elementary education, it is common to work with the idea that the desire to teach is critical for students to become teachers with a pedagogical ethos that distinguishes them within the "normal school" tradition. In this view, the myth of the vocation is an essential part of the teacher training culture. In addition, it seems that with practice, that love is consolidated by the work of teachers, and the theory is given less importance, and in turn generates the myth that the teacher does not need much theory, as long as he knows how to teach. However, if there is no theoretical basis, how can you build that ethos from the formative processes?. It is necessary to break the myths. Even though, they come from an origin close to reality, they are symbols that do not always help with professional and institutional improvement.
