摘要:This investigation shows the characterization of a collapsible soil, obtained from the Llanitos farm in Cd. Fdz., S.L.P., Mexico, which it applies a procedure proposed by Das (2001), which consisted of five geotechnical criteria for identifying if the investigated soil is or not collapsible, for this purpose, undisturbed and disturbed samples were obtained which them were determinated the moisture content, dry unit weight, degree of saturation, particle size distribution, Atterberg limits and edometric tests. Finally it was concluded that this is a susceptible soil to collapse for which some alternatives were presented to make use of this type of soil in the construction of earthy works using techniques to stabilize it and prevent the collapse
