摘要:Big data is a term used to represent a large, massive data set having complex structure (unstructured or semi structured) with difficulties of being stored and analyzed for further processing. Big data is not limited to traditional data warehouse, but includes real-time or operational data stores used as the primary data foundation for online applications. The process of digging into the massive data sets to reveal the hidden patterns or correlations is referred to as Big Data Analytics. Ever increasing data contains hidden information patterns, so these patterns can be analyzed to gain many opportunities by business organizations. Few of the Business Drivers of Big data are: Finance, Telecommunications, Media, Life science, Retail, Government. As the data generated by the applications of different organizations is increasing at a greater speed and data is highly unstructured so it becomes very difficult to perform effective analysis using the existing traditional techniques. Hence big data analytics need to be done as accurately as possible. This paper presents a comprehensive review of big data’s content, process of big data analytics, applications, tools/technologies used and few challenges currently being faced by data scientists during big data analytics
