摘要:The paper gives a detailed description of technical solutions developed for the implementation of a metamodel-based graphical tool building platform whose main area of application is the development of DSL editors. As opposed to the well-known static-mapping-driven approach, the implementation described here provides more flexible means for the definition of the correspondence between the domain and presentation metamodels, using model transformations. The solutions described in the paper form the basis of a newly developed Eclipse plugin METAclipse that allows an easy use of transformations and materializes the ideas of the transformation-driven tool building platform. METAclipse has proven its flexibility and efficiency in the development of a new generation graphical editor for the model transformation language MOLA.
