摘要：Decision-making is a fundamental component of strategic and operational management; it often requires the ability to interpret and act on feedback quickly. In this article we will look at different methods employed by financial services institutions for decision making, and in particularly we will explore the usage of the system dynamics method. System dynamics is a way of studying complex systems to understand their behavior and decisions outcomes. In the article we will also seek to understand opportunities and barriers in the usage of system dynamics in preparing organizations to challenge and enrich their interpretation of a complex world. The article is based on primary research of current practices in the sector and interviews with ~35 subject matter experts.
