摘要:The aim of this research was to study the domestic migrant families in Izmir within theframework of Ecological Systems Theory. Parent-school relationships, student-teacher relationships, peerrelationships, parent-child relationships, relationships with relatives and relationships with the neighborhoodwere studied at the microsystem level. Data were collected by the use of semi-structured interviews. Interviewforms were given to a total of 26 parents whose children attended İlkkurşun Elementary School, in Karabağlar,İzmir. Data were analyzed using content analysis. Results showed that families perceived their relationships withsiblings, parents, and with children as intimate relations, whereas relationships with school, teachers, neighborsand peers were perceived as formal relations.
