摘要:The effectsof slip and heat transfer on the peristaltic MHD flow of Carreau fluidare studied under longwavelength and low Reynolds number conditions. The channel asymmetry produced by choosing the differentperistaltic wave train likely sinusoidal, triangle, square, trapezoidal and sawtooth. The nonlinear governing equationsare solved using a perturbation technique based on small Weissenberg number. Expressions for the stream function,pressuregradient, temperature distribution, axial induced magnetic force function and shear stress on the wall areobtained. The effects of various parameters assessed numerically are presented and discussed.The comparison of thevarious considered wave forms on the flow is discussed.
