摘要：In India, especially in rural and remote areas, people find it difficult to receive medical treatment. Thepatients who lives in remote areas struggle to travel for treatment purpose since there are lack of physicians in ruralareas. In this project, Muliti parameter health monitoring system is designed based on PLC which helps to record andanalyze the multiple parameters of patient from their home. The monitoring system consists of several sensors such astemperature sensor for body temperature measurement, pulse oximeter to find the oxygen saturation and haemoglobinof a person. A pair of EPIC sensors with differential amplifier is used to measure the electrical activity of a patient’sheart. Methodology of this system is, the analog output of each sensor which is connected to patient is directly given toProgrammable Logic Controller where it stores in the memory of the controller and from PLC through serial port it istransferred to personal computer. This system monitors the human health condition through SCADA system.
