  • 摘要:Power system stability of modern large inter-connected systems is a major problem for secure operationof the system. Low frequency oscillation is one of the major factors that affect the transmission line capacity. FACTSDevices are used to control the power flow to increase the transmission capacity and to optimise the stability of thepower system. One of the widely used FACTs devices is Unified Power Flow Controller. The controller used in thecontrol mechanism has significant affects on the controlling of the power flow and enhancing the system stability. Thispaper presents a fuzzy logic controlled power system using UPFCs to damp the oscillation in integrated multi-machinepower system.
