摘要:The electrochemical treatment of industrial wastewater from a fish canning, located in Agadir city, Morocco, was performed efficiently using a SnO 2 electrode. It was found that the temperature and current values must be optimized in order to reduce the energy costs of process. The raw effluent baseline characteristics with a temperature between 17 and 35 °C, the average pH values oscillating around neutrality and a high salinity, are useful conditions and lend themselves well to an electrochemical treatment. A COD removal rate of 77% was achieved with 35 °C, amperage of about 0,06A and an electrolysis time of 3 hours conditions; the power consumption was about 1 KWh.Kg -1 .
