摘要：In Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo, thousands of people work f or the success of their schools of samba.This article at tempts from the field work, established method in ant hropology, conducted between Rio samba dancers, and direct contac t with the samba dancers in S.o Paulo, make a comparative analysis between the symbolic and economic import anc e of t he samba schools in the two largest Brazilian cities.Thus understand more about the relationship bet ween popular expressions and multicultural reality.
