  • 摘要:DNA Cryptography is a new cryptography technique that overcomes the problems of previous cryptography technique because of its extraordinary knowledge density inherent in the DNA molecules. This paper mainly focuses on the different cryptographic algorithms used for purpose of encryption and decryption image in the field of image security. Protection has gained high significance as data technology is extensively used. Since, digital image has become an important medium of communication; researchers have come up with different techniques from time to time to ensure security of the images. Cryptography refers to the study of mathematical techniques. Now a day, multimedia data protection is becoming most important. The multimedia data protection can be achieved with encryption. There are various methods should be used to protect confidential image information from the unauthorized access. In this paper, we survey on various methods for encryption of image and we also provide common introduction about cryptography. in this paper present overview of DNA cryptography encryption and decryption image for secure communication.
