  • 摘要:Purpose – to establish the importance of organizational commitment and social identification with group for employees experienced work-family conflict, taking into account sociodemographic factors. Methodology – Work-Family conflict questionnaire (Carlson, Kacmar, Williams, 2000). Organizational Commitment questionnaire (Allen, Meyer, 2003), Three-Factor Model of Social Identity questionnaire (Cameron, 2004).Findings – organizational commitment is more important for women while social identification with work group is more important for men in the context of work-family conflict. Research limitations/implications – sample size was not random, participants filled in self-reported questionnaires therefore social desirability also shouldn’t be rejected/it is recommended to do longitudinal study because both organizational commitment and social identification with group are not situational but deep processes and it takes time for them to develop or modify. Practical implications – the investigation is valuable for practitioners planning interventions – based on the results one should take note that in order to reduce work-family conflict faster gender should be taken into account.
