摘要：A Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET) is the network of self-configuring nodes without having any fixedinfrastructure. In mobile ad hoc network all the node have limited battery & lifetime in the network. There is manyrouting protocols are based on assumption that every node forward packets to other node but some nodes are misbehaveor non-cooperative which is known as selfish node. In this paper we discussed about the different IDS technique todetect the selfish node in mobile ad hoc network. Here we proposed a credit based technique to detect the selfish nodeattack & motivate them to co-operate in the network
