摘要：Cheilitis glandularis is a rare disorder characterized by swelling of the lip with hyperplasia of the labial salivary glands. It is a rare condition which is most commonly seen in the lower lip of adult males with little predilection to females, children and upper lip. It was reported under various terms such as cheilitis glandularis simpler, cheilitis glandularis superficials and cheilitis glandularis apostematosa. In this review we have included information from the articles obtained during PUBMED and GOOGLE SCHOLAR the terminologies cheilitis glandularis simplerand cheilitis glandularis superficials. We have reviewed etiology, prevalence, clinical features along with clinical classifications and also about the various treatment aspects of this rare inflammatory disorder.
