摘要:The technology evolution of smartphones, systems and the growing of telecommunications, allow the use ofAugmented Reality in the exploration of geo-referenced information, complementing the real environmentof the users with various types of content displayed on robust mobile cameras through applications calledaugmented reality browsers. Although this type of application is being in development and growing use bysociety, the technology, and especially its software architecture do not have any kind of standardization.This work presents concepts about augmented reality browsers for mobile devices. It shows the mainaspects and applications of those types of reality. Besides that, the specific features of those types ofarchitecture are discussed and compared, and new architecture, whose most relevant feature is theinteroperability of applications in various platforms for mobile devices, are presented. This work has theobjective to develop an architectural framework for the development of these browsers.
