摘要:The different Quality of Service (QoS) requirements formultimedia applications should be taken into account whileproposing QoS multicast frameworks for mobile ad hocnetworks (MANETS). In addition, the application viewpointshould be taken into account while designing QoS multicastframeworks and the validation of new QoS multicast frameworkshould be studied for different multimedia applications. In thispaper, the performance of the QoS multicast framework (FQM)for supporting three different classes of multimedia applicationsis studied. The analysis of simulation results have shown thatthe performance of FQM for supporting the three classes ofmultimedia applications is quite the same. Although out of orderpackets and delay packets can be adapted and accepted instreaming stored applications, the enhanced in the performanceof FQM for supporting this type of multimedia applications isnot high. In addition, the results show that increasing thegenerated data packets as a result of decreasing payload size hasa high effect on the performance of the FQM framework
