  • 摘要:Authentication is indeed the heart of any securesystem. CAPTCHAs, a class of HIPs tests, are aprogram that tells whether user is a human or acomputer. CAPTCHAs currently in use have beenbroken. Thus, there is a need to employ strongerCAPTCHAs to keep these breaking attacks at baywhile retaining ease of implementation on websites andease of use for humans. One of the CAPTCHA methodsis Collage CAPTCHA. It is a method for distinctionbetween human and computer programs throughrecognition and finding a picture of an object amongsome objects. In this project we improve the resistanceof Collage CAPTCHA method by an improved methodcalled Hybrid Collage CAPTCHA. In this method wedisplay images on left and right side of the screen. Onleft side screen we have an image. On right side screenwe have the corresponding images along with differentnames in distorted form. Now the computer programasks user to choose the picture with correct name. Ifthe user select correctly, then user is allowed to enterthe name of the image in the given text box. If enteredname is correct, then we guess that user is human.
