摘要：The present study was conducted to evaluate four sorghum cultivars. The genotypes used were Pinolero, Eskameca, Centa S-2, and S-3. The objective of the study was to select those cultivars that were best adapted to the edaphoclimatic conditions of the Atlantic region of Costa Rica. The experiment used was a randomized complete block design with five replicates and four treatments. The characteristics evaluated were plant height, stem diameter, leaf length, leaf width, color of ripe grain, days to flowering, days to fruiting, yield per hectare, and fresh biomass. The cultivars best adapted to the prevailing edaphoclimatic conditions on the EARTH campus were Pinolero and Centa S-2.
