摘要:The objective of this research was to assess the effect of three endophytic isolates of Trichoderma atroviride on the colonization and production of biomass in maize and rice. Seeds of both crops were dipped in a spore suspension of each endophytic isolate with 5 x 106 cfu/mL for 15 minutes and were sown in pots and placed in a greenhouse. The results in maize indicated that the three isolates were able to colonize the internal tissue of the plant with an average of 47 % in the roots, 45 % in the stem and 16 % in the leaves. In rice, the colonization percentages were 40 % for roots, 37 % for the stem and 8 % for the leaves. The foliar fresh matter of the corn was best with the treatment Endo 3 reaching a weight increment of 24 % as compared to with the control. The root fresh matter of rice with the control and Endo 1 treatments obtained the highest values. These results indicated that the entophytic isolates promote the plant growth in maize but this effect was not significantly detected in rice.
