标题：Investigaţii arheologice preventive la conacul Manuc Bey din Hânceşti

摘要：In the process of the rescue archaeologicalresearch in 2013 on the Manuc Bey Complexfrom the city of Hânceşti eight sections with a totalarea of about 250 square metres were conducted. Oneof the most signifi cant results is the discovery of a redbrick foundation of a balcony - terrace in the easternpart of the Hunting Castle and of a fountain, also brickbuiltand situated in front of the Palace, at the end of thepark stairs. Another very important fi nding is the oneof a decorative architectural element made of cement,being for the family crest of the Manuc Bey Prince.Another portion of the foundation of a possibly olderbuilding was noted near the Bailiff’s House. Amongthe isolated fi ndings there is a key and a stirrup, bothmade of iron and strongly corroded, foundation bricksof the balcony of the Hunting Castle having incisednumber 1881, ceramic tiles with the MARYWILLstamp on the back, roof tile fragments with inscriptionsin the French language, etc
