摘要：Explorar la formación ciudadana a partir de la biblioteca pública se traduce en indagar su dimensión ciudadana en la búsqueda del análisis contextualizado de dicha institución, según los marcos de la pedagogía y la educación social, valiéndose de acciones comprometidas con la realidad local y con su transformación. Para lograr lo propuesto se revisaron y analizaron los discursos rectores y los contextos de la biblioteca pública, contrastados con los testimonios de los actores de esta institución. Para concluir como la educación social desde sus funciones de socialización y de sociabilidad dinamizan las prácticas ciudadanas de la convivencia, la participación y la autonomía en la biblioteca pública; prácticas que reconfi guran la función de ésta institución en la sociedad.
其他摘要：Social education as a means of dynamic citizenship practices from the public library. It is important to investigate the citizen dimension in search of contextual analysis to explore citizenship education from the public library. The search might be based on the framework of pedagogy and social education might use actions committed with the local reality and its transformation. In order to achieve the proposal, were analyzed diff erent instruments to accomplish the research: Frequent users interviews from Parque Biblioteca España were taken as important source of information and contrasted with university directors in order to support the purposes. To Conclude, it is stated how social education becomes the frame that enables citizen practices to scope the citizenship in the public library from the functions of socialization and sociability give a particular dynamic to participation and autonomy in the public library practices that reconfi gure the function of this institution in society.
