摘要:Culture, gender, and society in relation to science learning are positioned as some of the most important core research strands in the field of science education (Abell & Lederman, 2010). Research on culture, gender, and society within science education has been studied from various angles, but this study is primarily concerned with equitable learning opportunities, gender, and the masculine nature of science. This study is also aligned with the view of pluralism, in that understanding science knowledge is a product of its culture (McKinley, 2010).
