摘要:Distance e ducation continues to grow in popularity, partially due to the convenience to students. Within the parameter of convenience, students are faced with ethical considerations when taking online classes. Ethics is the determining factor in what boundaries soc iety has determ ined as appropriate behavior for our actions. In academia, ethics is a comm only tossed about phrase frequently intoned by institutional administrators and faculty. This exploratory study of 457 undergraduate students will assess the studen t's ethical perspectives about their own behavior and what external resources they deem as acceptable use in online courses. Additionally, it is important to understand how students' perspectives correlate with demographic characteristics and level of edu cation in order for faculty and administrators to effectively develop online courses for their students
