摘要：Particularly in the second half of the 20th century, historical approaches became Erich Christian Wittmann is one of the primary founders of mathematics education research as an autonomous field of work and research in Germany. The interview reflects on his role in promoting mathematics education as a design science and its consequences as well as his view on current developments within the discipline and his activities.
