摘要：This paper examines the state of the art with rural infrastructural development in Nigeria between 1960 and 1990. It reviews the various rural infrastructural development programmes of the government over the years. The paper highlighted the achievements of the government rural infrastructural programmes. Finally, the authors discuss the problems and challenges posed by the government responses to the rural infrastructural needs of the people
