其他摘要：Series of provenance plots was established for the evaluation of the potential of Douglas-fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii /Mirb./ Franco) in the forestry of the Czech Republic in the last decades. The most important are the plots of the international provenance IUFRO experiments. At H.rky locality, South Bohemia, Czech Republic, 25 provenances of the Douglas-fir from nearly all its native range were planted in 1971. Presented paper summarizes the results of study of quantitative as well as qualitative parameters of the trees at the present age of 44 years. Total height, diameter at breast height were measured, the volume of large wood as well as the hectare volume of particular provenances were evaluated. Based on visual evaluation, health state, trunk form, type and structure of the bark thickness and density of branches were also assessed. All trees were also classified by Kraft's social status scale. Differences between provenances' growth were statistically processed and interpreted. Obtained results confirmed considerable differences in growth and prosperity of particular provenances at the studied locality.
