摘要：There is an unquestionable scientific consensus on climate change; however, the editorial stance of Europe’s leading mainstream media continue to give priority in their speeches to political, economic or social arguments against the soundness of scientific discourse that urge to take action. This paper discusses factors that influence, determine and ultimately distort the editorial stance of the four newspapers with more influence on European public opinion: El Pais , Le Monde , The Guardian and The Frankfurter Zeitung Allgemeinte . The analysis covers 14 years, from the Kyoto Protocol to Durban summit (19972011).
