摘要:A software reliability growth model is one of the fundamental techniques used to assess software reliability quantitatively. The software reliability growth model is required to have a good performance in terms of goodness-of-fit, predictability, and so forth. A number of analytical models have been proposed during the past three decades for assessing the reliability of the software system. In this paper we will summarize some existing Software Reliability Growth Models (SRGMs), provide a critical analysis of the underlying assumptions, and assess the applicability of these models during the software development cycle using an example.
