摘要：The main purpose of this paper is to analyze the growth and productivity in Chemical industry in Tamil Nadu for the period of pre and post liberalization i.e.1980-81 to 2012-13. The labor productivity was better and the capital productivity was low during pre and post liberalization. It is necessary that both public and private investment should be enhanced in chemical research and technology for sustaining productivity Growth in the long run.
