Nutritional status was determined according to body mass index, and to obtain body composition skinfolds, collected in triceps, biceps, sub-scapular and supra- iliac, and waist circumference were used. When the body mass index was measured, the results demonstrated that 72 % of the studied athletes were above the normal range. As regards the waist circumference results, the vast majority - 72 %, had normal parameters, regarding the percentage of fat, the average score of the athletes analyzed (20 %) was above the standards described in the literature for this group.
