摘要:Abstract The purpose of the research is to determine what are the antecedents of job satisfaction, satisfaction from the university and extra-role behavior of the academic staff. The research has been carried out on the 239 academic staff of Mehmet Akif University. In this quantitative study which is carried out via survey, the antecedents that are affecting positively the job satisfaction, respectively; the attitude of academic encouragement, the environment of collaboration/cooperation within the academi staff and the satisfaction from the administrative affairs. In addition, the elements that are affecting positively the satisfaction from the university are respectively; satisfaction with the unit, the attitude of academic encouragement, job satisfaction, the satisfaction from the administrative affairs, perceived organizational support and the communication diversions with the administration and the other unities. The behaviors of the fact that the academic staff have made extra efforts more than necessary on behalf of their own university have been affected firstly by the environment of collaboration/cooperation at high level, secondly by job satisfaction and finally by the positive attitude of the administration towards academic encouragement. With the inference from these findings, the satisfaction of the academic staff can be enabled by the job satisfaction, academic encouragements, social relations with the manager and colleagues, the manager’s positive attitudes and behaviors that are open to communication and the efficiency of the administrative personnel and administrative affairs Keywords: Job Satisfaction, Extra-role Behavior, Satisfaction From University, Satisfaction From Unit, Academic Staff
