摘要：Este documento traza un perfil actual de la situación de salud en Colombia de acuerdo con dos grandes líneas: la relación entre salud y condiciones de vida y su expresión en inequidades socio sanitarias. Para el efecto se analizan tres aspectos: la mortalidad; la enfermedad y la vulnerabilidad, entendidas como el riesgo de enfermar y como deterioro de la calidad y condiciones de vida, con la consecuente pérdida o disminución del bienestar; así como algunos indicadores del sistema de prestación de servicios de salud. Los resultados muestran que los principales problemas de salud del país son las muertes violentas, responsables de la mayor mortalidad temprana, la pervivencia de inequidades en el estado de salud y en el acceso a los servicios de salud, y la vulnerabilidad de los niños, las mujeres, los jóvenes, especialmente de los más pobres, y de la población de la zona rural. Sugiere, además, que la puesta en marcha de la ley 100/93, no solo ha profundizado las inequidades, sino que ha generado nuevas desigualdades injustas y regresivas. Propone avanzar en una tarea política: la construcción colectiva de la salud como un asunto de interés público, condición necesaria para la refundación del sistema de salud, en una perspectiva incluyente y equitativa.
其他摘要：This document outlines actual profile of the health situation in Colombia today following two main tendencies: the relationship between health and living conditions and, its expression in social sanitary inequities. For this will analyze three aspects: the mortality; the disease and the vulnerability understood as the risk of getting sick and as the deterioration of the quality and living conditions, with the ensuing loss or decrease of wellbeing; some indicators of the rendering of health services system. The results indicate that the main health problems of the country are the violent deaths, responsible for the highest early mortality, the persistence of inequities in the health status, and in the access to health services and to the vulnerability of children, women, young ones specially the poorest and of the population in the rural areas. It also suggests that the onset of Statute 100/93, not only has it deepened the inequalities, but it has generated new unfair and regressive disparities. It proposes to advance over a fundamentally political task the collective construction of health as a matter of public interest, condition necessary for the re-foundation of the health system, in an inclusive and equitable perspective.
