摘要:Teaching Semiology in the School of Dentistry of the University of Cordoba, Argentina Abstract. The data was obtained from the records of the Semiology Department of the School of Dentistry, Cordoba, Argentina. There were 633 patients: 284 men and 349 women. The average age was 29 years with a range of 8 to 83 years. Sixty percent of the patients were born in Cordoba. The majority of the remainder came from other provinces of Argentina, with only six patients coming from other countries. The oral pathology prevalence was 24.8 and the general disease frequency was 28.2. The oral lesions that prevailed were: dental pain (17.4%), recurrent aphthous estomatitis (7.5%), gingivitis (9.8%), oral pain dysfunction of the ATM (8.1%) and fluorosis (6.9%). The general diseases were: hypertension (19.2%), hypothyroidism (18.7%), diabetes type I (8.3%), asthma (4.9%) and allergies (3.9%). 13.37% of the patients presented both oral and general diseases.
