摘要：A 53 year old woman was referred to us because of large goiter, enlarged pituitary and grossly elevated TSH and free T4. The differential diagnosis included a TSH producing adenoma vs. artifactual laboratory tests. A careful step-by step analysis of different possibilities allowed correct diagnosis and treatment.
