摘要：Before using remote data sources, or those from external organisations, it is important to establish if the source is fit for purpose. We have developed an approach to automatic sensor data annotation and visualisation that evaluates overall sensor network performance and data quality. The CSIRO’s South Esk hydrological sensor web combines data related to water management from five different organisations, which provides a suitable platform to explore the issues of reliability and uncertainty. An environmental gridded surface is generated based on the observations and evaluations of quality and reliability of the sensor node provider.
