摘要：This paper shows the initial data based on research done by us about BIRD, teacher's formation and Informatics in the Education from year 1998 to 1999. This research has the aim to investigate the following questions: What projects have been getting BIRD's financial support? What did the supported team achieved? What are their difficulties? Are they getting any opposition from the community or the teachers? The paper underlines a sp ecifi c experi ment: "P ROFORMAÇ ÃO", that has also financial's support from the FUNDESCOLA, FNDE and FUNDEE. PROFORMAÇÃO works with the distance learning to inprove fundamental teaching. using the Informatics as an administration basis and Radio and Television as pedagogical resources. The article conclude with a reflexion about the possibility of this program can be used to manage Brazilian Education in order to unify procedures with the goal to control information in a strategic and national security region.
