摘要：Valle, Ballina and Fernández, S.A., manufacturer of the well-known cider "El Gaitero", is a century-old company with the profile of a born global firm focused on regional export. This firm was created to take advantage of cider trade opportunities overseas, associated with the Asturian emigration to Latin America. Based on the historical evolution of this firm, in this paper the determinants of early growth and possible subsequent corporate development of export oriented born global firms are discussed.
