标题：Using the Lifegrid in Qualitative Interviews With Parents and Substance Abusing Adolescents

摘要：In diesem Beitrag beschäftigen wir uns mit der Nutzbarkeit von Lifegrids (LG), einem retrospektiven Datenerhebungsverfahren, für die Rekonstruktion jugendlichen Drogenmissbrauchs aus der Perspektive der Jugendlichen und ihrer Mütter. Wir profitierten hier insbesondere von dem durch das Verfahren ermöglichten Rapport zwischen uns und unseren Gesprächspartner/innen, von dem Ausmaß, in dem es zum Erinnern verhalf und von den eröffneten Querbezügen zwischen den Beiträgen der Teilnehmenden. Diese Vorteile besprechen wir ausführlich, ebenso einige Herausforderungen, die aus der Verwendung des LG-Ansatzes in unserer qualitativen Studie erwuchsen. URN: http://nbn-resolving.de/urn:nbn:de:0114-fqs1503241↓Este artículo describe la utilidad de una herramienta de recogida de datos retrospectiva llamada matriz de vida (MV) en la exploración de abuso de sustancias por adolescentes, desde la perspectiva de las madres y sus adolescentes que abusan de ellas. Nos pareció útil el enfoque de MV en la construcción de la relación investigador-participante, al aumentar la profundidad y rango de recuerdo de los participantes, y las referencias cruzadas y la comparación de los eventos entre los reportes de los participantes. Estas ventajas se discuten a detalle en el artículo, mientras que también desempaquetamos algunos de los desafíos que enfrentamos en el uso del enfoque de MV en nuestro estudio cualitativo. 其他摘要：This article describes the usability of a retrospective data collection tool called the lifegrid (LG) in exploring adolescent substance abuse from the perspective of mothers and their substance abusing adolescent. We found the LG approach useful in building researcher-participant rapport, enhancing participants' depth and range of recall, and cross-referencing and comparing of events between participant accounts. These advantages are discussed in detail in this article, while we also unpack some of the challenges we faced in using the LG approach in our qualitative study.
